Evidence Briefing: Addressing Structural Determinants of Youth Development (Cal-IHEA)

Join the California Initiative for Healthy Equity and Action (Cal-IHEA)  for a Sacramento evidence briefing titled, “Addressing Structural Determinants of Youth Development for Safe and Healthy Communities”.  The event will highlight promising policies and strategies to address the structural factors that impede health, safety, and social justice for Black, Latinx, Native American and Indigenous youth in California.    

March Philpart, Managing Director at PolicyLink and principal coordinator for the Alliance for Boys and Men of Color, will facilitate a discussion about the ways in which the state can promote safety and well-being in California communities. Participation is expected from legislative staff, academic researchers, and policy advocates.  

This event is co-sponsored by The California Initiative for Health Equity and Action (Cal-IHEA), PolicyLink, the California Legislative Black Caucus, and the Select Assembly Committee on the Status of Boys and Men of Color.
