COVID-19 and Unhoused Youth: A Youth and Community Engaged Approach
April 8, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm PDT
Since the onset of the pandemic, students and youth interns from the community have collaborated to address the challenges facing youth experiencing homelessness, a disproportionately Black, Brown, and LGBTQ population.
Our team, Youth and Allies Against Homelessness, will share what we have learned from youth and their providers regarding the effects of COVID-19 on their lives. Youth and Allies Against Homelessness includes community youth who are exiting homelessness, students who have experienced homelessness and students who are committed to ending youth homelessness. We will propose solutions, including both policies you can support and steps you can take to invest in the wellbeing of all our youth.
Bring your curiosity, your questions and your insights.
