Renowned local restaurateur and activist Alice Waters and influential alumna and author Marion Nestle teamed up to deliver the first installment of the School of Public Health’s 75th Anniversary Speaker Series on March 19.

Moderated by professor Kristine Madsen MD, MPH, the two discussed the current state of the U.S. food system and why they think the food movement is a beacon of light at the intersection of agriculture, food, nutrition, and public health.
