Dr. Chung, PhD., PE is a lecturer at UC Berkeley School of Public Health (SPH). Dr. Chung developed a method for detecting high collision concentration locations that was selected as the most deployable research project of the year at UC Berkeley and the method became one of the official network screening procedures included in Korea Highway Safety Manual (KHSM). Dr. Chung served as a committee member at Traffic Flow Theory and Characteristics at Transportation Research Board (TRB) and served as a panel member for reviewing research projects funded by the California Department of Transportation.
