Biography

Dr. Philip Chuang is a healthcare executive focused on building and scaling innovative, integrated care delivery models. He is Senior Vice President, Healthcare Services at HumanGood, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit senior living organizations, where he leads healthcare strategy, operations, quality and regulatory performance, and business development. Dr. Chuang works to integrate medical, social, and behavioral health services to improve outcomes and experiences for seniors and vulnerable populations.

Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Clinical Services for Kaiser Permanente Northern California, where he led Medicare and Medicaid care delivery strategy and cross-functional clinical service line operations across 21 hospitals and more than 250 medical office buildings supporting 4.6 million members. At Sutter Health, he was Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for home and community-based care and senior care. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in healthcare technology and digital transformation.

Dr. Chuang is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). His professional service includes board and governance roles with ACHE, the California Association of Healthcare Leaders, LeadingAge California, National Alliance for Care at Home, and the National PACE Association.
