Biography

Amy Slater is a lecturer on the subject of negotiations and conflict resolution at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health and the Goldman School of Public Policy. From 1997 to 2000 she was the first general counsel of Ask Jeeves, Inc. (now Ask.com). Before joining Ask Jeeves, Amy worked in private practice and in corporate legal departments in San Francisco, Redwood City and Oakland.  Amy has a B.A. degree from the University of California San Diego and a J.D. from University of California Law School, San Francisco.
