Our Community, Our Campus, Our City
Visit us and immerse yourself in our school, the vibrant UC Berkeley campus and the surrounding Bay Area.
Welcome to Berkeley Public Health, where ideas become innovation.
We recognize that radical collaborations are necessary to meet priority health needs and achieve health equity in our increasingly diverse communities. Our Bay Area presence provides us with unmatched access to networks across the globe. We’re adjacent to San Francisco, the Silicon Valley and national centers of innovation that put us at the epicenter of advances in biotechnology, digital health and big data.
Not to mention, California—the largest and most diverse state in the United States—is located on the Pacific Rim and shares a border with Mexico. This provides a strong platform from which to strengthen our work and from which to expand to include the economic powerhouses across the Pacific.
Our campus is an open campus. Stop by our building, attend an event and chat with our ambassadors to learn more about us. Take a walk around campus or contact Berkeley Visitor Services to set-up a guided tour.
Once you become a student, you’ll gain access to over ten million volumes in the university’s 18 libraries and will be taught by some of the most distinguished teachers and scholars in the world.
To complement our exciting academic community, we’re home to state-of-the-art athletic facilities, nationally ranked sports teams, an art museum, an anthropology museum, the Pacific Film Archive and host concerts and special events that are parallel to any metropolitan city.
Experience the fun, eclectic and vibrant culture of Berkeley and the San Francisco Bay Area. Visit the Cal Parents website for more information about campus life, directions and parking and dining and accommodations.
We are located in the new Berkeley Way West building, with additional offices across campus, and in the city of Berkeley.
