When you should go to a peer advisor:

  • Permission codes
  • Forms, signatures
  • Grad school (4+1 MPH, see the appropriate program manager)
  • Public Health major policies
  • APR issues / graduation requirements for major
  • Global Public Health Summer Minor/Certificate
  • Planning major courses
  • Transfer work options for major requirements
  • Impacts to major progress if struggling
  • Research and other departmental opportunities

L&S Biological Sciences College Advisors

When you should go to an L&S advisor:

  • Breadth requirements
  • College policies
  • Non-major degree requirements
  • Exploring majors or double majors
  • General program planning
  • Struggling with a class or multiple classes
  • Getting the most out of your undergraduate experience
  • Connecting with campus resources for support
  • Knows general things around Molecular Cell Biology, Integrative Biology, Robinson Life Science, Business, and Entrepreneurship Program and Public Health

We currently have a hybrid model so please pay close attention to if you are attending a remote or in-person advising session. Appointments via SetMore only show availability for the next 10 days so you will not see appointments for the whole semester all at once.

Drop in hours are multiple times per week on a first come first serve basis. You can read more about the academic advisors/co-managers at the bottom of the drop-in hours page.
