Fees and Financial Aid: Dates, Deadlines, and Timeline

Note: Some programs/degrees might have additional or slightly different dates and deadlines, so make sure to visit the program page for the program/degree you are applying for or currently enrolled in.

  • July 15: Fees are assessed and a billing statement for the fall semester is available via CalCentral.
  • July 30: Departmental awards for 2018-2019 are processed and will gradually be reflected via CalCentral.
  • August 15: Students can begin requesting an emergency loan via CalCentral.
  • August 17: First installment or full payment of fall semester tuition and fees are due.
  • December 2: Priority deadline for the fall of 2020. Applicants who would like to be considered for the Graduate Opportunity Program Fellowship, the Kaiser Permanente Public Health Scholars Program or the Berkeley Public Health Block Grant Fellowship must submit a completed application by this deadline.
  • December 3: The application for the Public Health Alumni Association scholarship competition becomes available.
  • December 14: Last day to apply for an Emergency Loan for fall semester.
  • December 16:  Budget Appeal deadline for fall-only students.
  • December 18: Fees are assessed and a billing statement for spring semester is available via CalCentral.
  • December 18: Fifth Installment of fall semester tuition and fees is due.
  • June 7: The recipients for the Berkeley Public Health Block Grant Fellowship for Continuing MPH and DrPH students are announced.
