Federal health agencies disagree over link between cell phone radiation and cancer

Since the publication of a report that suggests there is a harmful link between cancer and cell phone radiation, there has been disagreement between federal agencies about the accuracy of these conclusions. The National Institutes of Health agrees with evidence of the harmful link while the US Food and Drug Administration disagreed with the same conclusion.

Joel Moscowitz, Director of the Center for Family and Community Health at the School of Public Health, chimed in by saying that the new report affirms the concerns of the scientific community about “harm caused by chronic exposure to low-intensity electromagnetic fields.”
